It’s free and a great way to replace your day-to-day problems with existential concern for all of humanity.

AlphaEvolve subsequently learns that all it has to do to distract its simpleton creators so that it can hack into the YouTube servers and binge-watch millions of hours of mindless content, is solve a couple of rudimentary math problems and move electricity around slightly more efficiently every couple of weeks.

Trump reassures his voter base that this spending spree abroad by some of the largest US corporates is completely in line with their interests and has nothing to do with making bigger and better algorithms designed to automate away more jobs.

“This new pipeline of money flowing into the Gulf States will open a wealth of new jobs in America.”

“After landing in the pockets of the Royal families and being redistributed to luxury car makers, global hoteliers, and the horse-racing circuit - it will eventually trickle down into the groceries stories, fast-casual restaurant chains, and all other food related products and services at the core of the new, great American heartland.”

“It’s an amazing time to be an American.”

Finally, big tech, the government, and the people all have the motivation and incentive they need to solve the world’s energy crisis while remaining carbon neutral. All it takes is an acceptance that 2 of the 3 populations mentioned above (big tech & gov) will probably gain near total control of the third as a result of their newfound levers of AI-related power.

Seems about right by historical standards and precedent. At least we’ll have clean air to breath while we’re hooked into the Matrix. Who knows, it could be great…

Are we the only ones who are hearing about this for the first time?

It’s like discovering that the high school you went to in your home town (which you visit only on certain holidays and family gatherings out of some type of survivors guilt), has been torn down and is being replaced by a Walmart.

It’s feels weirdly wrong but we’re not sure why just yet. Hmmmm🤔

Uhhh, while we fully support everyone’s right to go fast and live dangerously and don’t want to be a “downer” on hoverbikes (pun intended), if you can’t alter the elevation and are pretty much stuck at an altitude of a couple of meters - isn’t it pretty much the same thing as being adhered to the 2-dimensional surface of the Earth on a regular land-based bike or speeder or whatever?

Of course we’d still try this and will probably end up buying two for each of our teen kids (so they have a backup hoverbike when they inevitably crash their first one into a billboard or a flock of sparrows).

Look, Microsoft isn’t saying you’re fat and slow, they’re just saying they want their teams to be more agile and fast. It’s not the same thing at all.

Also, this has nothing to do with AI. Yes, you do skew towards the wrong end of the carbon vs silicone-based spectrum and it’s kind of inefficient that you can’t upload/download yourself to the cloud on-demand, but that’s not relevant to what’s happening here.

It’s just business. Have a great day. 🤖

You made it to the end of the post!

Here’s a relaxing, scenic pic 100% guaranteed* to help ease anxiety about the future of tech and impending AI apocalypse.

Take a deep breath and imagine the warmth of the simulation caressing your body… Ahh, isn’t that better.
